£60 per person - including coach travel, one way steam train journey from Pickering to Whitby with Controllers tea onboard.

Once we have all boarded the coach, we will make our way directly to Pickering. You will have an hour or so to wander around the quintessential market town, where you will be able to explore many independent retailers. We will reconvene at Pickering Station a 1930’s station at 11.50am where you will be thrust back in time, before we board one of the North Yorkshire Moor Railway’s Pickering to Whitby services. Sit back and relax while you take in the sights and smells of a bygone era. We will travel 24 miles through the beautiful scenery of the North Yorkshire Moors, including Goathland station made famous by the TV series Heartbeat, and more recently by the Harry Potter films, starring as Hogsmede Station. On board we will be served the Controllers Snack – an array of sandwiches, quiche and pie, followed by a freshly made scone with strawberry preserve & clotted cream with Tea & Coffee.
Our journey will terminate at Whitby, where you will have a few hours to explore Whitby at your leisure before boarding the coach at 4.30pm to make our way home, calling at Darlington first.
