Chester Weekend

Saturday 1st - Sunday 2nd October

£125 per person (Single Supplement £30)

Price includes coach travel, 1 night Dinner, Bed & Breakfast at 4* Mecure Abbotts Well Hotel.

Day 1
After we all board the coach we will make our way directly to Chester with a short comfort stop on route. You will have all day to explore the city, with its medieval buildings Chester is one of England’s best preserved walled cities. You could kick start your Christmas shopping, or spend time relaxing on a city cruise on the River Dee.
Chester is also home to the largest Roman amphitheater in Britain, used for entertainment and military training by the 20th Legion and which is free to visit. You can also join a Roman Tour of the city where your very own centurion will give you an insight into Roman Chester. Or why not visit the Cathedral, it has a fascinating history spanning almost two thousand years it boasts some wonderful sights including the Nave Mosaics dating back to 1880 and are said to be some of the finest in the country.
We will board the coach again at 4.30pm and make our short journey to our hotel for the evening Mecure Chester Abbots Well. You will have time to relax and enjoy the hotel, including the leisure facilities, before our 3-course evening meal. After our evening meal you are free to enjoy the hotel or Chester’s night life as you wish.
Day 2
After our breakfast the bus will be outside the hotel at 10am to load your luggage. Today you can either spend another day in Chester or board the coach to Cheshire Oaks Shopping outlet, for a day of retail therapy. If you decide to visit Cheshire Oaks, you will find an array of designer and well known high-street stores at discount prices. Cheshire Oaks boasts to be the largest outlet centre in the UK, complete with restaurants allowing you to refuel during the day.
The coach will pick those in Chester up at 4.00pm, and Cheshire Oaks at 4.30pm to begin our journey home. We will provide estimated times for your arrival home once we have boarded the coach.
